Associate New DataGroup Definitions with Catalog Types
This part of the process associates catalog types, previously created in the Catalog Editor, with definition property groups and properties (also previously created in the Definition Editor).

Select

In the Catalog Editor, select
> Show Catalog Types.
The catalog tree displays the catalog types.

With the newly created Refrigerators catalog type selected in the Catalog Editor, select .
The Catalog Type Definition dialog opens. It displays the settings that were set during the creation of the Refrigerators catalog type.

In the Definition settings group, select the following definitions (xsd) from the Available Definitions list and move them in the Selected Definitions list:
This can be done in a different ways:
The selected definitions are now associated with the currently selected catalog type.
Scroll to highlight a definition in the Available Definitions list and double-click; repeat the same for all three.
or
Select a definition and click
; repeat the same for all three. or
Scroll and using the <Ctrl> key select above three definitions and click
once. Any number of definitions (.xsd files) can be attached to, and associated with, a catalog type.

Click OK to apply the selected definitions to the selected catalog type and to close the dialog.
You are returned to the Catalog Editor.

Select
> Show Catalog Items.
You will see the new Catalog Item.
